About me
Mgr. Mária Hlohovská
I became a psychologist because I wanted to gain a deeper understanding of myself and others. I chose to pursue psychotherapy because I want to positively utilize what I learn and help others in the process.
After completing my degree in psychology, I worked as a counseling psychologist and then spent several years as a school psychologist at three high schools, including an eight-year gymnasium. In 2023, I gradually began my private psychological practice, which I am now fully dedicated to. I am a member of the Czech Society for Analytical Psychology and the Slovak Society for Analytical Psychology.

In addition to my therapeutic practice, I am deeply committed to education. I regularly attend seminars as part of my psychotherapeutic training, read psychological books and articles, listen to professional podcasts, and participate in various lectures, conferences, courses, and most importantly, individual and group supervision.
In my personal life, I spend my free time caring for my dog and engaging in various creative and active pursuits.
Please note that I am not a healthcare provider under Act No. 578/2004 Coll. The services I offer do not replace medical care provided in a healthcare facility.
